Info about Dressedly

How it works:

1. First, go to the account page to set your preferences.
2. Next, go to the me page. Take a clear, full-body photo with as little clothing as possible. Our AI will remove the background. This is your personal avatar.
3. Go to the add page. Put on an item of clothing and stand in the same pose. The app will use your 'me' photo as a transparent overlay to help you line it up.
4. Draw around the item (e.g., your t-shirt), select its category, and let the AI process it.
5. Finally, visit your wardrobe (homepage) to mix and match all your added items on your avatar! Or let the app pick something for you. Or use our newest feature the 'picker' to quickly mix and match top + bottom.

Tips and Tricks

1. I have to many clothes, pls help!

Our biggest tip is, just start small, put every cloting item you wear everyday inside of the app, and after a couple of days, your wardrobe will grow automatically, and it does not take a long time to add a daily outfit normally.

Your Privacy & Data

We take your privacy seriously. Here’s exactly what happens with your data:

1. Your Photos

Your 'Me' photo and your clothing photos are considered private. When you upload them, they are processed by our AI background removal service. This processing happens automatically. Your original photos and the processed cutouts are stored securely in your private account folder on our server and can not be accesed without your password.

Even the dev and the admin users can not acces your photo's or data. The only data we can acces is your name, e-mail and user settings.

2. Use of Data (Disclaimer)

To improve the quality of our AI, some uploaded images (originals and cutouts) may be stored anonymously. This data is fully disconnected from your account and contains no personal information. It is used only by our internal team for debugging and training the model to improve cutout accuracy. Your photos will never be sold or shared.
(currenrly we are NOT using our own AI, so your images are NOT used for AI training at the moment, 29/12/2025)

3. Account Deletion

If you choose to delete your account (from the 'Account' page), your user profile and database entries are immediately deleted. Your stored photos are moved to an internal 'trash', disconnected from your deleted account, and permanently deleted from our servers after a 30-day holding period.
